Join us for this fun, offshore fishing trip that supports the federation! The Miss Hatteras, a 75-foot head boat, will leave from Oden’s Dock in Hatteras Village and head to the Gulf Stream for participants to bottom fish for a variety of species. Proceeds from this event will support the federation’s education and restoration programs.
Last year participants reeled in triggerfish, vermilion snapper, wahoo, black sea bass and more. Come try your luck with us for a chance at bringing home fresh local seafood for dinner! The top angler will be rewarded with a prize bag stuffed to the brim with goodies! You’ll also get to learn all about the work the coastal federation is accomplishing to protect water quality in Pamlico Sound and coastal NC. We hope that you will join us for this awesome adventure on the Miss Hatteras.

$120 for non-members
This is a family-friendly event recommended for children 12 years old and up. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Fishing gear, tackle, bait and one-day saltwater fishing license will be provided as well as light snacks and drinking water. Participants should wear comfortable clothes (layers are best) and bring sunscreen, plenty of water, a packed lunch and a sense of adventure! Anyone prone to sea sickness, should consider taking motion sickness medicine the night before the trip.
