The Hodia Parent Program will add an overnight onto Hodia Shooting Stars Camp, in an effort to help our campers’ parents learn what their child’s experience at Hodia was like! We hope you and your family can attend.
Shooting Stars Camp will run as usual; however we will include one extra overnight for those families who register. Parents/caregivers and siblings of our campers will be invited to register and attend the Shooting Stars Parent Overnight.
Throughout this program, parents will be able to sit down with Hodia camp counselors and medical staff to ask questions, to learn about Hodia’s approach to diabetes care, to network with other parents of children with diabetes, and to experience the fun of camp. Campers’ siblings will have the opportunity to enjoy a slice of the fun activities of camp as well!
Even if you attended the Hodia Parent Program in the past, we encourage you to come again this year. Each year, the content will update as your child grows up! This will be a meaningful and fun experience for all participants.
The cost for your whole family (up to 6 participants including your camper) is only $80. Financial aid is available for those in severe financial need.
