It's a holiday concert filled with the joy of singing when the great-grandchildren of the cherished Sound of Music von Trapp family join musical theater star Ashley Brown and the NSO Pops. The von Trapps have a "folk-pop sound that's uniquely theirs" (USA Today) that blends beautifully with the "perfect pitch" (The Chicago Tribune) of Broadway's original Mary Poppins, Ashley Brown. Featuring traditional favorites alongside fresh new tunes and arrangements, this concert sports seasonal spirit in spades--and with The Washington Chorus, a visit from Santa Claus, and the Concert Hall festively bedecked, the holidays have never been brighter.
