Shippensburg University Alumni Association Golf Tournament @ Iron Valley Golf Course

The SU Alumni Association Golf Tournament is one of the largest fundraisers for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship and the Shippensburg University Alumni Association. Proceeds from the tournament are used to fund two new scholarships every year for incoming freshmen with a legacy relationship. You can help by playing a round of golf and/or showing your support through a sponsorship, including being a phantom golfer if unable to participate.

Owners and operators Jon Byler ’97 (Raiders baseball team alum) and Kathy ’97 (Hallowell) Byler (Lady Raiders softball team alumna), along with Director of Operations, Jeff Harper ’85, look forward to welcoming their fellow alumni & friends to Iron Valley. Ranked the #8 course you can play in Pennsylvania by Golf Magazine, the course was designed by world renowned architect, P.B. Dye, and offers natural terrain, expansive vistas, and extreme elevation changes. Price per golfer is $100
Your price includes golf, cart, range, bagdrop, dinner, N/A beverage stations, and domestic can beer (3/person). Please note: when paying online, an event platform fee is added at checkout. This is the charge for the platform and credit card processing, it is not revenue. You are welcome to call our office with your credit card payment or mail a check. We recommend this if providing a large sponsorship amount to avoid the extra charge.

Format: Four-person flighted scramble.

Prizes: Team and door prizes; Men & women: longest drive and closest to pin; Straightest drive.
