BPC 2023 Spring Summit

Given the unique location of San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, the region is exposed to a multitude of potential natural disasters. As climate change continues to increase the intensity of weather events and our geographic location promises another high-magnitude earthquake, it is essential to understand the emergency response framework that will respond to potential catastrophic events.

At the Bay Planning Coalition's annual Spring Summit, the event will focus on emergency event responses with three panels: 1) Funding Mechanisms; 2) Planning & Permitting; and 3) Implementation. Covering the three critical components of disaster plans, our 2023 Spring Summit will benefit regional stakeholders, community members, and industries, as the best preparation is information.

Join us on May 24th, from 8:00am - 2:00pm, at the David Brower Center in Berkeley, CA. In-person registration includes morning pastries and a lunch reception.

If you are unable to attend in-person, the event will be offered virtually. To receive the virtual event access information, please select the virtual option during the registration process.
