Over the years Ernest has studied Adirondack History, in particular the Philosophers Club and the famous people who were inspired by the Adirondack Mountains.  Includes Einstein (who vacationed on Lake Clear)  and many more....

Ernest's European parents moved to the Adirondacks after immigrating from Europe.  They came, not unlike Stillman, Thoreau, Einstein and others because of the inspiration and lure of the Adirondack Mountains and Lakes.

Ernest has studied many of these "visitors" and their travels.
