May Workshop and Chapter Meeting 

The NKBA Chapter Meeting in May includes three great opportunities to enhance your profession, create business opportunities, and advance your knowledge of smart home and lighting technologies. It's a triple threat of possibilities you won't want to miss. Here's the lineup of events:

NKBA.org Profile Workshop - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Do you need to setup your NKBA.org profile?
Do you have an NKBA.org profile, but want to add more content to enhance your listing and opportunities?
Do you have project photos to add to your profile, but just can't find the time?

If you answered yes to any one of these questions, the NKBA.org Profile Workshop is for you. Two Member Relations representatives from the NKBA will be there to offer step-by-step instructions and support for setting up and enhancing your member profile. A presentation, as well as one-on-one help will be available.

Bring your laptop or tablet and use this dedicated time to work on your profile with the help and support you need from a knowledgeable representative. 

In preparation for the workshop, plan to bring or have access to the following:

• A cover photo
• A profile photo
• Links to your social media pages
• A bio about you or your company (250 characters maximum)
• A description about your services
• Project photos

There is no cost to attend this workshop, however, please register using the button below so we can plan on your attendance.

Get a Professional Headshot Taken - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This unique opportunity is your chance to get a professional headshot photo for your NKBA.org profile page, your company website, your LinkedIn page, or any other place where you want to be professionally represented.

Photographer Jason Rineer will be onsite at this time providing photo sessions to each attendee who signs up for a headshot. All photos will be professionally edited and sent to you approximately two weeks later for use.

A special NKBA group rate of $50 per session is being generously offered at this event only. That's a $125 value for only $50. So whether you need a professional headshot or need to update your current headshot, this is a unique opportunity at a discounted rate

Chapter Meeting and Special Presentation - 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Whether or not you attend the workshop or reserve a headshot session, please plan to join us for an evening of socializing, networking, and learning. 

5:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Meet and greet with hors d' oevres and beverages provided by John Moeller from State of Affairs Catering

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. - Chapter announcements, door prizes, and updates

6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - a special "Smart Home Integration" CEU presentation by Ryan Nugent, Sunbound LED Lighting
