After a year like none other, we hope you'll join us for this special evening.
Focusing on our 2021 theme, "Doing the Undoable: What we endured, learned, and accomplished during COVID-19," Healthy NewsWorks student journalists will share first-hand accounts of the pandemic and present interviews with community leaders ranging from frontline healthcare workers to an international vaccine expert.
Vernon Odom, who was a reporter for 6abc Action News in Philadelphia for 42 years, will host the virtual event on Wednesday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m.
During the event, we'll also lift the curtain on Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2021—Doing the Undoable in a Pandemic, the 10th book written and illustrated by elementary and middle school student journalists involved in our program.
