The 2012 season of Shelby County Reads will feature a special visit from NASA Astronaut, Jerry Ross, and his wife, Karen, Manager of Food and Product Support with the United Space Alliance on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Shelbyville High School. THIS FREE EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Reservations are required. See details below.
Jerry is from Crown Point, Indiana and met Karen who is from Sheridan, Indiana during their sophomore year at Purdue University. They have two children and currently live in Friendswood, Texas. Both have been involved with the space program for over 20 years.

Karen will present at 6pm* in the SHS Golden Bear Room (next to the high school library and near Breck Auditorium). Jerry will speak at 7pm in the SHS Breck Auditorium. A free ticket is required to attend each presentation. They are available on a first come, first serve basis at the following locations: the Shelbyville-Shelby County Public Library and Three Sisters Books and Gifts.
