His Eminence the 12th Nubpa Rinpoche was recognized while still in the womb.
Curently the abbot of Nepal Drikung Kagyu Rinchen Ling monastery, whenever possible Rinpoche walks for over a week to retreat at one of the holiest sites on earth- Lapchi mountain. His Eminence is among the few great practitioners today who is both learned in Buddhist scholarship and accomplished in retreat practice.

7pm: Welcome Ceremony
Join us in welcoming His Eminence to our center with the traditional Eight Auspicious Offerings Ceremony with Sweet Rice & Tea. 

Saturday, May 28th
10 am - Noon:  Milarepa Empowerment 
2pm - 5pm: Milarepa Transmission & Guru Yoga Teachings

Milarepa is Tibet's most beloved saint. During the first part of his life he was an ordinary human being, complete with afflictions and faults, who transformed into a spiritual master tirelessly working for the benefit of all.  Milareapa is a true example of the power of the Dharma to produce enlightenment in one lifetime.  To receive a Milarepa empowerment, transmission, and teachings from Nubpa Rinpoche is very special. Nubpa Rinpoche has done extensive retreat in the very caves that Milarepa used to gain realization.

Sunday, May 29th
10 am - Noon:  Hayagriva Empowerment

Surrounded by the flames of pristine awareness and equiped with a sword to cut through delusion and obstacles,  Hayagrivawrathful emanation of Chenrezig,  is a conqurer of all evil-  aiding spiritual development by supplying the fierce energy needed to overcome internal obstacles and subdue outer hindrances for world peace and for personal  harmony.

 

2pm - 5pm: Dzogchen,  Mahamudra &  Madhayamaka
Join us for a Dzogchen & Madhaymaka  teaching and a Mahamudra meditation with one of the great accomplished masters.  These three teachings are the highest view and realization of the entire Buddhist canon.

Seating is on first come first served basis. Tickets may be printed online during the pre-registration process. You may select  "Pay at the Door"  to pre-register and receive the Pre-Registration rates the day of the retreat. Please email us if you cannot make it.
