2nd Annual World Health: Special Focus on Haiti

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This Continuing Medical Education activity is designed to update primary care and specialty practices on the evolving guidelines for world health management and treatment. The intent is to inform the attendees on innovations in treating special patient populations. These innovations include new drugs, technology, chronic-disease management, and research. Finally, participants will be able to integrate approaches to improve patient care of special populations in world health.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES  
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be conversant with:

• New models of healthcare delivery system reform and how they can be employed
• Current solutions aimed at addressing healthcare fragmentation and health outcomes
• Using data to define standards of care
• Using quality measures to define value 

TARGET AUDIENCE 
Medical Directors, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and practice leaders that serve high-risk populations. 

ACCREDITATION 
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Healthfirst, Howard University College of Medicine and NOAH NY. Howard University College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
