Fourth Annual Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research Cruise for a Cause

Please join us on Thursday, June 27, 2019 for the fourth annual Cruise for a Cause, our largest fundraising event of the year.  Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research, in partnership with Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota is thrilled to again offer this wonderful evening to promote further discoveries in the fight to end colon cancer.  With your help, MKCCR has raised over a half million dollars since its inception, funding six major research projects.

 

Late June provides the longest days of summer, a perfect time for a St. Croix River cruise aboard the Majestic Star, a classic and luxurious 100-foot yacht docked in Stillwater, Minnesota.  Our two-and-a-half hour voyage along the beautiful St. Croix River highlights the new St. Croix Crossing Bridge.  The cruise includes a buffet dinner, cash bar and updates from researchers and doctors from the     U of M on the hard work taking place to end colon cancer.

 

Boarding begins at 5:45pm and departure is at 6:30pm (sharp).  Highway 95 construction is now complete by Stillwater Boat and Packet Company, so the detour is no longer in effect making access easier.

 

The Cruise is free of charge, but we suggest and appreciate a $75 per person donation.  We know our supporters are passionate about this cause and hope you are inspired to donate generously prior to the event.  100% of all donations go directly to Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota and are tax deductible.  Even if you cannot make it to the event, we encourage you to give.

Please join us for the 3rd Annual “Cruise for a Cause” fundraising event. Mezin-Koats Colon Cancer Research, in partnership with the University of Minnesota, Masonic Cancer Center is excited to offer this wonderful evening to promote further discoveries in the fight to end colon cancer. With your help, MKCCR has raised over half a Million Dollars since inception and funded three major projects. Please join us again this year to continue the fight.

 

Celebrate the longest day of summer aboard the 100’ Classic Yacht,  Majestic Star, docked in Stillwater Minnesota. This year’s event is on Thursday, June 21st. Boarding begins at 5:30pm and we’ve moved the departure time to 6:30pm(sharp), easing  travel time from the Twin Cities. Our voyage is 2 ½ hours between Stillwater MN and Hudson WI along the beautiful St. Croix River, highlighting the newly open “St. Croix Crossing” Bridge. The cruise includes a buffet dinner and updates from Researchers and Doctors from the U of M on the hard work taking place to end colon cancer. Cash bar provided.

 

This year the Cruise for a Cause event is free of charge! As this is a fundraising event we are passionate about, we hope that this important cause will inspire you to give.
