SCORE provides no-charge mentoring and education to more than 350,000 small business owners each year. Your gift helps more entrepreneurs to thrive. Every gift has a positive impact!  Consider making a tax deductible donation with this link.

This free three-hour program offers highlights of a SCORE seminar on the same subject.  This year we’ll cover the "Simple Steps" in two parts on February 16 and March 23, 2019 at the Longview Library.

The February 23 session will focus on Business Plan Basics, Determining Your Target Market & Researching the Competition; we'll follow-up with Business Marketing, Sales and Financial Issues in the March session.  This way, you’ll be able to identify those areas where you may need extra attention in your business.  You can then arrange a free SCORE mentoring session for additional help and fine tuning!

Takeaways from the February 23 Simple Steps Workshop:

  • Learn about the myths & realities of Entrepreneurship
  • Consider the critical factors of success
  • Learn about your options at every phase of the business process
  • Gain valuable business planning tools and learn where you can get help

Both of these concurrent sessions are being offered free to the public through the generous support of the Friends of the Longview Library and the volunteers of the Vancouver Chapter of SCORE.
