Gala Celebration Event:

Including a personal appearance by Meryl Streep - Friday Evening, September 21, Chicago Hilton Indian Lakes Resort

“Watching the film I felt as if Meryl had somehow moved into me and got it all, just really got it. It was enormously gratifying to watch her and understand that she was able to see into the souls of all parents who deal with sick children, and to feel it as a mother. What lovely empathy, and how wonderful, to be seen and know you have been felt, by her! What a kindness her great talent brings to us. What a remarkable spirit Meryl Streep is!”
