Wouldn’t it be exciting to have your classic automobile showcased at the very first Cruisin’ New Orleans Car Show which takes place at the Historic Gallier Hall and Lafayette Square in the heart of New Orleans’ Downtown Development District on Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29, 2012 during the NOLA Downtown Music and Arts Festival? 

In New Orleans, music is more than business; it’s also a cultural expression and what better way to compliment great music than with hot cars!  The NOLA Downtown Music and Arts Festival features free musical performances from local, national, and international acts from places as far as Canada, London, and Guadeloupe featuring various genre of music. 

The historical setting of Lafayette Square is the perfect setting for the display of such fine antique vehicles.  Presented by Cutting Edge Music Business Institute, Sylvain Solutions, and Verges Vintage Vehicles, LLC; Cruisin’ New Orleans is certain to develop into one of New Orleans’ premiere events.

Cruisin' New Orleans Car Show is open to 25-years-old and older vehicles. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. Proof of insurance may be requested at the time of arrival. EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE. Early-Bird registration costs $25 and must be received by September 13, 2012.

On-site registration opens on Friday, September 28, 2012 at Lafayette Square, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. On-site registration will cost $40 and will not include a participant t-shirt.

Official Competition Registration Packets must be picked up on site at Lafayette Square, 500 Saint Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130 by the registrant on the day of the event (Friday, September 28 or Saturday, September 29, 2012) and the registered vehicle must be present at registration.

All registered vehicles must carry automobile liability coverage with minimum limits. The Undersigned acknowledges and understands that no insurance is available for coverage to the Undersigned unless otherwise provided by private insurance obtained by the Undersigned. Registration packets must be picked up by the registrant and the registered vehicle must be present at the stamping venues.

Entry and Advertising Release: In consideration of this entry, car owner and spouse/guest agree to permit Cutting Edge/MBI Cruising New Orleans the use of their names and pictures, and pictures of their cars for publicity, advertising, and commercial purposes (including newspaper, magazine, radio and television) before, during and after the event and do hereby relinquish rights to any photos taken in connection with the event, and give permission to publish or sell or otherwise dispose of said photographs to Cutting Edge/MBI. All publicity and advertising rights are reserved by Cutting Edge/MBI Inc.

Operation: Event management reserves the right to restrict entrants to acceptable behavior during any and all activities of NOLA Downtown Music & Arts Festival - Cruisin' New Orleans. Open headers, unnecessary tire spin, or any other reason an entrant or his/her vehicle, their appearance or conduct are deemed objectionable by event management, entrant and his/her vehicle will be subject to eviction from the premises. This reservation includes persons, things, conduct, printed matter or any act or item of poor character which the management considers objectionable to the event's well being. The driving or operating of any vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any illegal stimulant or substance is prohibited. In the case of any eviction or restriction, Cutting Edge/MBI, Inc., is not liable for refunding entry fees except at its own discretion. Event details subject to change without notice. Any use of the mark without the express written consent of Cutting Edge/MBI, Inc. is prohibited.

Liability: In consideration of the acceptance of the right to participate, entrants and participants, by execution of this entry form, release and discharge Cutting Edge/MBI, Inc., and their officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, representatives, volunteers, sponsors, organizers, promoters and servants, and anyone else connected with the management or presentation of Cruising New Orleans from any and all known or unknown damages, injuries, losses, judgements, and/or claims from any cause whatsoever that may be suffered by entrant to his/her person or property. Further each entrant expressly agrees to indemnify all of the foregoing entities, firms, persons and bodies of and from any and all liability occasioned or resulting from the conduct of entrants or any participants assisting or cooperating with entrants and under the direction or control of entrants. Entrants agree that participation in any contests, games, or activities may be limited.

Eligibility: Cruisin' New Orleans participation is open to qualified vehicles. Entrant must be at least 18 years of age. I have read this form and agree to all terms and conditions of the Cruising New Orleans application and the rules governing the event as set forth on this form and agree to observe all rules and decisions of the event management.

*** No refunds or return of processing fees for cancellations.  However, all payed applicants will receive a free Cruisin' New Orleans Car Show T-shirt and have access to our special hotel room rates.
