  Deepening Our Understanding Together

"[This class] provided me a path back to myself that requires'nothing to do.' I am wise as I am, my wisdom always exists, and is available as a resource to me and others."

This small group series is both an introduction to the Three Principles of Sydney Banks, and an ongoing exploration of how deeper understanding of the Principles unfolds in day-to-day life. "Foundations" is part of the CSC's commitment to facilitating dialogues in which we reflect on the spiritual gifts that allow us to experience every moment of our lives--from the mundane to the extraordinary. This format allows us the time and space to reflect together on issues & insights that anyone may bring to the group ...

What is the relationship of "form" (as parent, teacher, business owner; as the feelings we experience daily) to the Formless, that which creates all form, and is the source of our constant well-being? Whether you are new to the Principles, or would like to see them "anew," we would love you to join us.

Some topics we expect to cover during this time together are:

  • The Principle of Mind, Your "Spiritual Insurance"
  • Finding Well-Being in the Heart of Conflict & Distress
  • The Unlimited Wellspring of Wisdom, Within
  • Ultimate Simplicity
  • Thinking Ruts and Obsessive Thinking
  • The Root of Identity & Suffering
  • Going Beyond "Issues"

This list does not limit our sessions to these topics. We'll be guided by wisdom in the moment, yours and ours, and the agenda is open to whatever is alive for you.

Six weeks of group small group discussion & reflection will be led by CSC facilitators:

Ami Chen Mills-Naim, Gabriela Maldonado-Montano and Elese Coit

For complete bios, please click here.

These limited registration, small group classes convene on Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time, U.S., and end at or before 11 a.m. Sessions will be recorded for future use of the group, and for those who must miss a class. However, they will not be distributed to the general public. For a small fee ($25), Certificates of Participation will be mailed to those who request them, and attend all 6 classes.

Included in registration is a private individual session with Ami or Gabriela.

"Thought is a divine tool that is the link between you and your divine inheritance, and is at the core of all psychological functioning." --Sydney Banks, The Missing Link
