Genealogy: An Introduction

CGS is pleased to offer another FREE Introductory Genealogy class for beginners. This class will address basic methods, terms, and resources available online and offline. You will not find your first ancestor to set foot in America in this class, but you will leave with an idea of how to find them. We will show you how to get started and share some tips & tricks about doing research and we will also discuss:
Class starts promptly at 6:30 p.m. We have lots of information to cover in 90 minutes so please be on time.
A tour of our extensive library holdings will be held before the class at 6:00 p.m.
We are located in the historic Breuner Building. Street parking in the area is free after 6:00 p.m. and there is a fee lot behind our building.
This introductory class is offered FREE to both members and non-members, however, seating is limited and registration is required.
