Field Trip to Oakland Public Library
This field trip is organized for CGS members only.
Join Jane Lindsey along with Senior Librarian Kathleen DiGiovianni and Dorothy Lazard, Principal Librarian in the Oakland History Room to learn what resources are available at the Oakland Public Library to assist you with your family research. Newspapers, Books, Online databases, and the Oakland History Room are some of the resources available to you. Following the 90 minute tour, you are encouraged to stay and do research on your own.
Metered street parking is available in the area and there are also several nearby public parking lots, including the Oakland Museum.
Non-members interested in participating are encouraged to become members prior to November 1, 2013.
Field Trip is limited to 30 participants and pre-registration is required. There is no fee for this field trip.
