OCCA Board Training 2021 

Given health concerns, OCCA has made the decision to move the Board Member training to an online format rather than an in-person event.The training will now take place via Zoom on Friday, September 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. This training is appropriate for new and seasoned board members alike, but new board members are especially encouraged to attend. 

Learn about OCCA services and community college priorities! Mary Spilde, President Emeritus, Lane Community College and consultant, will provide training on board/president relationship. Karen Smith, OCCA Senior Policy Advisor & General Counsel, will provide in-depth information on public meeting law and ethics. And more!

Registration is $50 per person.
