This class helps people understand the basics of marketing and how to adapt to the new realities
of millennials and modern media. It describes what marketing is and what it is supposed to do. It
shows how marketing provides the strategic basis for successful sales. It explains how to make
potential customers aware of your business and how to make them clients. The class emphasizes
the need to find out what is important to the customer so that the product or service can be presented to maximize perceived value and satisfy customer needs.

About The Course Instructor:

Mark Levi

Mark Levi spent his career in the Marketing and Sales arena, with positions as salesman, sales manager, marketing manager and head of marketing communications. In those experiences spanning 45 years, Mark gained great experience in the basics of marketing (market research and analysis, competitors, advertising and promotion, strategies and selling methodologies) and has used them, since his retirement to help a wide variety of SCORE clients in product and service businesses. Building awareness, promoting product and services, closing orders, etc. are universal needs across all businesses and Mark has worked with B to B, B to C and hundreds of clients to assist them in successfully starting and growing their businesses.
