Join us for the 2nd annual Success in the City!

NAWBO Charlotte is bringing together Business Women Organizations in the Greater Charlotte Area for an evening of connections, knowledge sharing and a celebration of Women in Business Month.

Success in the City (6-8pm): Enjoy networking with fellow Charlotte business women as well as local politicians as we celebrate Women in Business Month.

Appetizers will be served ~ Valet parking available ~ Cash bar

And this year we are adding ANOTHER way for you to engage and connect.

Join us before Success in the City to engage in conversation about the economic impact of women-owned business.

Power Players (4:30-5:30pm): Hear from Councilman James Mitchell and the Director of Economic Development, Peter Zeiler, about the power of women-owned businesses in our area and what that means for you!

That’s right - this year we have TWO great events* on one night and in one location!

*Paid ticket is required to attend Success in the City but the Power Players event is FREE.

Success in the City Gives Back

This year we will be collecting canned goods for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. SHFBM provides food to almost 650 partner agencies including soup kitchens like Urban Ministries, emergency pantries like Loaves and Fishes, residential care facilities like Florence Crittendon, and homeless shelters like the Uptown Men’s Shelter among many, many other agencies.

Our goal is for Success and the City to collect 100 pounds  of canned goods! Please bring a bag of cans with you!  Every pound supplied is the equivalent to 1.25 meals for a hungry neighbor.

Kendra Scott will be on hand with their Rose Gold Roadshow - for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each piece purchased at the event will be matched and gifted to a local breast cancer patient or survivor through Carolina Breast Friends.
