The Yankees legend will join me for an exciting, unprecedented night of lively conversation at The School of Visual Arts Theatre (333 W. 23rd St., Manhattan) on January 22 from 7-9 p.m.

 

This special, intimate event - designed and priced right for baseball fans of all ages - will showcase a one-on-one discussion with the Yankees legend as he readies himself for a

return to the mound following last season's ACL injury.

 

We'll talk frankly about his early life, his time in New York and what it's like to be among the greatest athletes who have ever donned the pinstripes. We are all sold out of dugout seats,

but still have fabulous general admission seats available in the theatre priced at two different levels in honor of Mariano's historic career statistics:

Mariano Rivera is one of the few professional athletes whose storied career has left an indelible imprint on the New York sporting landscape. We're honored to have him join us to benefit our important work of prostate cancer awareness. It is our pleasure to give fans an intimate portrait of this legendary Yankee before he heads to spring training.

Mariano Rivera has spent all of his 18 seasons with the New York Yankees. The Panama native is a 12-time All-Star and five-time World Series champion, and is MLB's all-time leader in saves (608) and games finished (892). His accolades include five American League

Rolaids Relief Man Awards and three Delivery Man of the Year Awards.

 

An accomplished postseason performer, Mariano was named the 1999 World Series Most Valuable Player and the 2003 American League Championship Series MVP, and he holds several postseason records, including lowest earned run average (0.70) and most saves (42). Away from baseball, he is involved in numerous charitable endeavors including the Mariano Rivera Foundation.
