Registration is now open for our 9th Annual Healthcare Information Security Summit, to be held this year at Cooper University Hospital's Security Operations Center in Camden NJ, just across the bridge from Philadelphia.

Over the past several years the threats to healthcare information have increased in sophistication, and the results of attacks have been more critical. Having patient care systems and data held hostage is frightening. As more of us move our data to the cloud and SaaS providers, the level of visbility and controls seems to shrink, making this all the more terrifying.

In response, the vendor community has flooded the market with a slew of solutions that promise to make our data safer and more secure. Our healthcare members tell us they are getting the green light to grow their programs, hire more staff, and add technoloiges to help. Will any of that make us better prepared to deal with future threats? We will talk about this and more at the Summit.

This year our Keynote Presenter is Don Kleopple, CISO at Cerner.  Don's talk will focus on getting back to some basics. Today’s information security challenges are not a technology problem.  Some security organizations have lost their focus and have tried to buy their way out of the issues by focusing on technologies to address the issue. This keynote will focus on the fundamentals of a strong security program--a back-to-basics approach to addressing today's cyber security challenges.

Other presenters include:

  • Elie Abouzeid, Director & Information Security Officer, DentaQuest
  • Sheryl Rose, SVP & CISO, Catholic Health Initiatives
  • Derek Brown, CISO, Allegheny Health Network (Formerly)
  • Anahi Santiago, CISO, Christiana Care
  • Joey Johnson, CISO, Premise Health

As in previous years, this event will feature:

  • Breakfast, lunch, and snack breaks
  • An exhibit area with our vendor/sponsors
  • Time with your peers

Space is limited, so make sure to register now.
