Clinical Supervison Series: Using Assessment and Evaluation Tools for Effective Clinical Supervision 

This six hour training will cover topics of assessment and evaluation of a supervisee’s overall knowledge, skills, and self-awareness. The course will include opportunities to practice using formal and informal evaluation tools to aid the supervisee in skill attainment and enhancement.

Objectives: 

•  Participants will become familiar with initial, formative, and summative assessment of the supervisee’s knowledge, skills, and self-awareness.  
• Participants will become familiar with components of formal and informal evaluation. 
• Participants will become familiar with skills needed to address remediation of supervisee skills, knowledge, effectiveness, and self-awareness.
