Clinical Supervision Series: Legal, Ethical, and Professional Responsibilities 

Are you looking to advance your career by obtaining your clinical supervision designation? 

 

Recovery Resources is proud to offer our Clinical Supervision Series that will provide all the education needed to obtain this designation. This series includes four, six-hour trainings, once per month for four months. Each training costs $100 and the price includes a catered lunch. 

  

This training will include a robust review of the legal and ethical issues associated with clinical supervision. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the most recent rules, laws, and ethics associated with the responsibility of clinical supervision. Also, there will be an opportunity to discuss these concepts within the training group to enhance practical application and understanding. Participants will be provided with opportunities to practice ethical and legal decision making. Six CEU's will be provided upon completion of the training.

 

Objectives 

  • Learn the inherent ethical and legal issues associated with clinical supervision.
  • Explore and understand concepts related to competence, professional boundaries, due process in evaluation, informed consent, types of supervisor liability, privileged communication, and consultation.
  • Participants will review the most updated regulatory issues including Ohio laws governing the practice of counseling and counseling supervision, professional standards and credentialing processes.
