Foundations in Disordered Gambling will increase the participants' knowledge and understanding of the disease of gambling addiction and prepare the practicing clinician to work with problem and disordered gamblers and their families. Specific topics including warning signs, co-morbidity, screening/assessment, and cultural components of gambling will be discussed.
Each day doors will open at 8:30am for sign-in, networking and continental breakfast. The training will begin promptly at 9:00am.
This training will provide 12 CEU's for social workers, counselors, and gambling counselors as well as12 RCH's for chemical dependency and prevention professionals.
