This workshop covers the basics of how to: log in and find your course, navigate the OAK dashboard, post an announcement, and upload a file and make it available. We will also go over how to create a multiple choice quiz and deploy it to students.
Important: You will need to bring a laptop to this hands-on session. Please prepare your laptop in advance by making sure that you have a Blackboard (OAK) compliant web browser. On your laptop, go to the main Vanderbilt OAK page at http://www.vanderbilt.edu/oak/ and scroll to the bottom to the section called "Check my browser." Follow the instructions to run the automated browser-checker, and use the "Browser Compatibility Matrix" and "Browser Settings Guide" as references. You should also do this on any machine you plan to use to access OAK.
