Overcoming Obstacles to Healing
God is the source of all healing and wellbeing. We connect to Him to access that healing. Sin, lies, pain, shame, and unforgiveness are common barriers to our accessing the healthy, whole, creative life God has for us.
Join us as we share simple tools that help us overcome obstacles
Teaching Session Descriptions:
1. Processing Life with God is a practical overview of how we can confidently hear God and discern His direction for our lives. These tools have been taught worldwide for decades, originating with Dr. Mark Virkler of Communion with God Ministries.
2. Processing Pain with God includes a short teaching on becoming free from past trauma. It includes two visualization exercises and breakout group processing time.
3. Processing Forgiveness with God- while forgiveness can at times be a simple decision, some pain and betrayal are so deep that letting go is a multi-layered process. This method has helped many to move from pain to freedom and restored blessing.
4. Processing Identity with God: Juliet shares her personal testimony and leads through an inner healing exercise proven effective in illuminating lies and faulty self-preservation methods that hinder us from living wholeheartedly for God.
5. Accepting God’s Acceptance is the culmination of day’s ‘work’. After laying down past hindrances, participants will be ready to dust off any residual feelings of shame and receive the affirmations that God welcomes them into His Healing Presence.
