Driving Directions 

Composting offers a unique opportunity to contribute to and directly benefit from part of the solid waste solution: recycling. It also results in a rich soil amendment great for gardening purposes.

Attend a workshop and learn how to:
    Compost in your backyard.
    Start your own vermicompost bin (worm composting).
    Incorporate compost into your yard or garden.

Backyard Compost Workshop

Monday, May 14, 6 p.m., Fee $13

Woodland Park, 2100 Willowcreek , Portage                                                      

For the $13 fee, attendees will receive a sturdy backyard composting bin along with a handy guidebook to backyard and worm composting.

     

Pre-registration and advance payment is required. Payment must be received to reserve your spot.  Each workshop space is limited to 35 attendees and registered attendees have first priority to available seating. Sorry, no refunds!
