Join us in promoting REUSE at the
2018 Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration!
Saturday, April 21, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Porter County Expo Center
Are you a non-profit, school or charity in need of specific items that don't have to be new? Register today and get the supplies you need from community members willing to donate them.
Perhaps you need old bedding, keys, broken jewelry, old calendars, etc. Someone may have them, and all you have to do is ask. We will advertise your wish list and encourage donations at the Earth Day event.
Two IMPORTANT requirements for your participation:
We encourage your school/organization to participate as an exhibitor at this event. Because we, as a government agency, are renting this venue, we ask that you pay the appropriate exhibitor fee for participation to help defray our costs. You can register online. As an exhibitor, your organization can educate the public about who you are, what you do, and what reuse items mean to you. Being an exhibitor is not required for participating in the Reuse Fair, but it is highly recommended. The Northwest Indiana Earth Day Celebration has drawn up to 3,200 attendees. You'll be exhibiting with others who provide ways for the public to connect with nature, sell environmental products and services, and educate others on reducing their impact on the planet.
There is a limit to the number of Reuse Fair participants, so register early.
In order to do the best job of advertising your wish list, please register as soon as possible. Wish lists will be advertised in the Earth Day tabloid that runs as an insert in many local newspapers. Deadline for tabloid advertising is Feb. 16. If you do not make this deadline, your items can be added to our website, but may not reach as many people.
