Pop Arts: Create a Comic! (grades 6-8) with Kathryn Briggs

Beginning, middle, and end; story and images, all on a single page! We will learn about each stage of comics creation - from scripting to layout to inking and coloring - and each come away from this workshop with an original one-page comic. 

Pop Arts are Fleisher's new online Saturday workshops, featuring fun and engaging art-making experiences for young artists in grades K-12. Carefully designed by our talented teaching artists, each Pop Arts workshop runs for 90 minutes. Young artists and their families are encouraged to sign up for as many workshops as they want! 

Each workshop is offered with a suggested donation of $10-$15. Advanced registration is required and space is limited. Pop Arts will be hosted on Zoom, and you will receive a link to join once you complete your registration. 

Required supplies:
Pencil
Eraser
Fine tip pens (such as Micron or a Fineline Sharpie)
Scratch paper
Drawing paper
Ruler
Any kind of coloring medium (such as markers or colored pencils)
