Join us as We Meet the City Council Candidates who will be present to chat with you about the issues.  Positions that are up for election in 2011 are:

• City Council Position 1
  (Jean Godden, Chair Finance & Budget; and Budget Committee)
• City Council Position 3
  (Bruce A. Harrell, Chair Energy, Technology & Civil Rights Committees)
• City Council Position 5
  (Tom Rasmussen, Chair Transportation; and Alaskan Way Viaduct & Seawall Replacement Project)
• City Council Position 7
  (Tim Burgess, Chair Public Safety & Education Committee)
• City Council Position 9
  (Sally J.Clark, Chair Built Environment; and Alaskan Way Viaduct & Seawall Replacement Project)

Fremont Chamber is in the process of finalizing scheduling.  To find out if a candidate has confirmed attendance you can contact Jessica.

The meeting will combine presentation and discussion formats:
We will introduce Candidates in a line and give them less than 1 minute to introduce themselves and answer a very North-end question (as yet to be determine)

Then, as you picnic, Candidates will be sent around to each table to talk with the  small group at your table. We will time the Candidates so we make sure they move regularly and you get to meet them all.This format has been very successful in the past.
