ABOUT THE CLASS

Tweens Technique: Foundations and On-Camera
The class meets every Tuesday for 75-minutes and provides Tweens a place to learn and implement acting technique.  Curriculum includes Technique, Script Analysis, Commercials, Improv, Film and On-Camera presence work. Students will work individually in monologues, exercises and improvs, as well as be partnered up for scene and on-camera scene work. The difficulty of materials will be assigned based on experience of the actor so beginnning, intermediate and advanced actors will all excel in this class.

Tuesdays, September 15, 2015-May 17, 2016
(no class 12/22, 12/29 or 1/5/16)

TIME: 3:45-5 pm
AGES: 11-14

TUITION: $150/month +$25 registration fee for new students. 5% discount by paying for the semester in full: $570 for fall and $712.50 for winter/spring.

PAYMENT POLICIES: By enrolling in this class, you are agreeing to continue through May 2016.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you miss any class during the month, you are considered absent.  Always notify the studio (480.659.8957) if you know you will be absent.  There is no refund, credit or carry-over if you are absent.  There are no refunds after the session has commenced; pre-paid fees are refundable only up to 48-Hours prior to the very first class.

We highly encourage you to stay for the entire semester, as materials build as the semester goes, and class size is limited.  If you have been cast in a play (please list your class as a conflict when auditioning!) or have a massive schedule change and need to discontinue, you must notify Verve no later than the 20th of the month.  Students dropping after the 20th may be subject to a $50 late cancellation fee.   Only students completing the entire semester will be included on the Showcase DVD.

Due to the nature of classes being group- and partner-centered work, we highly encourage students not to miss classes, especially if we are in partnered work (it leaves the other partner with nothing to put up at that week’s class).  If the class missed is a solo-work class, the work may be presented the following week.  Attending a different day is possible, but must be cleared through the studio in advance.

Current students are eligible for a discount of $25 on tuition for each new student referred that enrolls in class (kids-adult).  Referring student must be active and enrolled in class.  Discount will be applied to the first month following the referred student’s enrollment.  Limit one discount per month. New student must listed current student on registration.

There is a $40 returned check fee.

Late monthly payments will be charged an additional 5%.
