Luca Morgillo is a charismatic Italian Chef from Florence, Italy. After completing his studies, Chef Luca traveled around the world learning new languages and developing his cooking techniques from the various cultures he encountered. After living for a time in both London and San Diego, Chef Luca returned to Italy to become a sought after pizza/sous chef, and Instagram sensation!
Chef Luca is a pizza teacher for the tour company Walkabout Florence and has a popular cooking show on Instagram and YouTube. Chef Luca’s passion for regional Tuscan and Neapolitan recipes is contagious. Join him and Upstate International to learn some recipes, laugh, lick your lips and spread a little love with Luca.
David Porras was born in Costa Rica. He ran Aborigen, a highly popular farm-to table-restaurant in Costa Rica before moving to the US. David earned a diploma in culinary arts at Latina University; was certificated in hydrocolloids and avant garde techniques at the French Culinary Institute in New York City; and obtained a Masters in cuisine, techniques, and products from the renown Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian, Spain. He is co-owner and executive chef at Oak Hill Cafe and Farm in Greenville, SC.
