Missionary Disciple Formation Program:
Going Forth in Joy!
Join us for our Going Forth in Joy! Missionary Disciple Formation Program, a weekend of encounter, discernment, and formation for living the Gospel within and beyond the walls of your parish, school, or office!
Drawing on Maryknoll's mission experience around the world, this program provides Catholic ministers, educators and leaders the knowledge, skills, and resources to better help their communities go forth as agents of encounter and positive Christian change. Program includes four sessions over three evenings:
- Our Call: God's Mission of Love
- Our Story: The Mission in Scripture and History
- Our Moment: Living the Mission Today
- Our Commission: Going Forth to Encounter and Form Others
Jesus passed his mission on to his disciples and for almost two thousand years the mission has been passed down from generation to generation. It's now up to us to make sure that this gift of missionary discipleship is given to the next generation. Let us help you!
