When my boys were little, I felt like I was the only mom who hadn’t taken  Motherhood 101. All around me I saw moms who were managing the many challenges of motherhood, taking the spit-up and tantrums in stride. I, on the other hand, felt like I was failing miserably. I felt overwhelmed, unhappy, and lonely. When I finally reached out to other moms, I realized I was far from alone; other moms were just better about covering up how frustrated and exhausted they were.

I formed The Well-Crafted Moms’ mini-retreats to help moms build community and ease the stress that often comes with motherhood. The mini-retreats are a gathering place for moms to share stories (or not – it's okay to be a fly on the wall if you want to), get support from me (a certified life coach) and from other mothers, and to have fun learning new skills and playing with arts and crafts projects.
