The Tennessee Holocaust Commission, in cooperation with the Jewish
Partisan Educational Foundation, presents a free hands-on educator institute on Thursday, May 11th from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Belz Museum of Asian and Judaic Art in Memphis, TN. Learn to engage and inspire students by teaching about the 30,000 Jews who fought back against the Nazis and their collaborators as Jewish partisans, during this evening workshop.
The workshop is open to middle school, high school, and community college educators as well as pre-service educators and administrators. There will be an overview of JPEF's online learning opportunities, and an introduction of the Educator Toolkit gifted to every participant. Dinner will be provided.
Participants are asked to complete the Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation's Resistance Basics online course prior to the workshop a www.elearning.jewishpartisans.org (CEUs are awarded).
