White Lake MST Birthday Hike

LOCATION: White Lake through town to Singletary Lake State Park, with options of hiking from Jones Lake State Park to Singletary State Park (21 miles!)

TIME: Meet at 8 am on Saturday, September 7th

HIKE DESCRIPTION: This 6-mile hike will showcase the beautiful areas around White Lake. White Lake is unique in that it has a white sandy bottom and is blessed with crystal clear waters. White Lake and surrounding lakes are great places to visit, to learn about Carolina Bays, and then relax! The hike will include road and natural surface walking.

Additional legs have been set up to cover the entire 21 miles between Jones Lake and Singletary Lake. Please email Carl to get all the details. This is a beautiful area, and a place where much support is growing to connect these lakes into a "three lakes trail."
