Description:
In the field of Children’s Mental Health we often find ourselves facing news terms or statements that seem to jump into the lexicon of North American’s. We then find ourselves trying to figure out what does it mean to us, to the clients we work with, and to the world of “best practices”. One of these terms is “Trauma-Informed Care”. Over the past three years, CPRI has developed webinars related to this very term, including discussions on best practices in attachment, residential trauma-informed approaches, “what is trauma informed care”, and how your organization can begin thinking about “becoming trauma-informed”. This webinar is aimed at tying some of these thinking’s together and applying it “real time.”
There is no cost for webinars. Webinars use an online platform called Adobe Connect, which requires you to have a computer, internet connection, and access to a phone line. Adobe Connect works best in updated browsers such as Google Chrome or FireFox. To test your connection, please visit the Adobe Connect diagnostic page.
CPRI webinars have limited capacity and are expected to fill quickly. Webinars that are in high demand may be offered again in the future. If you have registered and for any reason you cannot attend, please contact CPRI's Education & Learning Services CPRI.Educate@ontario.ca to cancel your registration.
Your reservation may not guarantee admission. As our events are free, it’s our policy to overbook. So we strongly recommend that you join the webinar early to access the meeting room before we reach the limit of users our system can support. As a courtesy for those who could not register, please contact cpri.educate@ontario.ca if you cannot attend the session.
**All of our webinars will take place from 10:30am-12:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) Unless otherwise specified.
