USGBC NFC Earth Week Town Hall & Film Screening: Nebraska Nexus

Please come out and celebrate Earth Week with us Thursday evening April 23rd at Aksarben Cinema. We are proud to co-host a sustainability partnership event between US Green Building Council Nebraska Flatwater Chapter (USGBC NFC), Green Omaha Coalition (GOC), Joslyn Institute for Sustainable Communities, and Nebraska Loves Public Schools (NEPS). We will be screening a few short environmental films, including a short film by NEPS and our main film created by Joslyn Institute for Sustainable Communities called Nebraska Nexus, about sustainability in our state. There will be catered food, a full cash bar, and time to socialize with your sustainable peers prior to the film. There will also be an attendee discount on concessions for the show. After the films, as a follow up to last year's USGBC NFC Town Hall "Regenerate" in June 2014, we will host a town hall discussion to hear from you: we will share our findings from last year's town hall, talk about the power of partnerships, harvest the genius of the audience, and talk about next steps to build a greener future together. USGBC GBCI CE's will be available. The event is free to thank you for all you do locally, for Nebraska and for the Earth.
