Th

This thought-provoking day with Sharon Maxwell, Ph.D., will examine possibilities for cultivating balance and self-regulation in the face of those elements of contemporary culture that seem toxic to children’s healthy development, forging beyond ideas explored by previous Professional Excellence Series speakers Dr. Beth Grosshans,  Dr. Steven Hughes, and Dr. John Chattin-McNichols.

We welcome Dr. Maxwell on Saturday, March 22, 2014. Her popular presentation was a highlight of the 2013 International Montessori Congress in Portland, OR.  She is the award-winning author of THE TALK: A Breakthrough Guide to Raising Healthy Kids in an Oversexualized, Online, In-your-face World. (Avery, 2008).
