An Evening with

San Bernardino County Supervisor, Curt Hagman

The Southern California Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) is pleased to present its sixth annual student-professional dinner discussion in partnership with the University of La Verne - College of Public and Business Management. This event is generously sponsored by Randall W. Lewis, Executive Vice President of the Lewis Group of Companies.

Join us for an informal evening of discussion about Leadership, Public Service and other interesting topics with San Bernardino County Supervisor, Curt Hagman. This is a unique opportunity to meet other professionals, students and academics in the field of public administration as well as meet our special guest in an informal setting. The evening includes a hosted wine and beer reception and a hearty full buffet dinner.

Curt Hagman was elected to serve San Bernardino County's Fourth District in November 2014. The Fourth District includes the cities of Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair, Ontairo and the southern portion of Upland.

The Supervisor has an extensive resume of public service prior to his election to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. His experience began as a Parks & Recreation Commissioner in Chino Hills. In 2004, he was elected to the Chino Hills City Council, and served as Mayor in 2008.

Mr. Hagman as elected to the California Legislature in 2008 and was quickly selected as Assistant Republican Floor Leader by his peers. He served in the Assembly until 2014.

In January 2017, Supervisor Hagman was elected by his fellow Supervisors to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and was elected as Chairman of the Transportation Committee for SCAG.

Along with supervisorial duties, Mr. Hagman also serves on the following boards and organizations; Governing Board of Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), Chairman; OmniTrans; San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA); Commission of the Ontairo International Airport Authority (OIAA); and is a member of the California State Military Reserves.

Supervisor Hagman earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at UCLA. He has and his wife Grace have two children; Jonathan, a student at UCLA, and Elizabeth, a student at Ayala High School. Mr. Hagman's experience in local and state government, and as a small business owner, has provided him insight into the issues facing his constituency.
