The Living Breath in Relationship:
Freeing Your Breath from Chronic Tension

Breath is the foundation of life. Free flowing easy breath provides a comfortable ground for our whole being. This primal resource allows us to meet life with an open heart, resilience, and flexibility. Restricted breathing tightens everything in our lives, including our relationships.

If you experience a lack of a free and easy relationship with your breath and body, join us! If you are a practitioner whose client's or patients experience restricted breath and way of being in the world, or face chronic stress, this will provide you insight and options for working with the drivers behind your clients' patterns.

In this one-day experiential workshop, we will provide both context and experience for understanding the breath as it animates your life.
  • Discover your reactionary patterns that result in restricted breathing, habits of tension and holding that have become unconscious and automatic.
  • Uncover the source of those habitual holding patterns that began in relationships, past and present, and discover how these chronic patterns affect your perception and interactions with others now.
  • Learn how the breath actually can support you even in difficult relationships when breathings is free and easy.
  • Develop self-compassion and greater attunement for your own being and life experiences.
  • Create more ease in your own body-being and in your interactions with others.
  • Take home simple tools you can use with yourself and your clients.

Margaret Townsend has been freeing people's breath with her sensitive and attuned work for decades. She brings her gentle touch, clarity and wisdom to this essential movement of life. Jane Peterson has taught constellation work internationally for decades and can quickly identify the relational cause of holding patterns in the body. Together they will guide you on a personal and professional introduction to this rich body of work.
