Are you a junior public relations practitioner or a practitioner-to-be? Want help securing your dream job? Join us for the 2018 Public Relations Career Fair and Mingle, with a focus on global opportunities - at home and abroad.
The night's Master of Ceremony will be Ruth Mojeed, CPRS-VI Board Director, with panelists: Iris Mueller, Brian Cant, Doug Brown and Sue Brown.
- Iris first came to Victoria as an international student. Now, as a junior practitioner, Iris will share stories about how she has successfully found a career job in communications. Iris share advice and tips for international students looking to establish a communications career in Canada.
- Brian and Doug, the senior communications professionals on the panel, will share:
- what it’s like to work in public relations in other countries,
- what skills/abilities/attitudes are helpful to have when working abroad,
- possible career paths, and
- how CPRS and the Global Alliance can help your career take flight.
- Sue, a career coach who specializes in international employment, will share tips and resources for work abroad.
