Film & Fashion Festival

The GREENLIGHT Film & Fashion Festival celebrates outstanding student films that explore environmental awareness and demonstrate how individual actions can reduce our environmental impact.

Welcome Filmmakers!

Your 5-minute, or shorter, video must address one of eight designated topics using comedy, drama, animation, fiction, documentary, clay-mation, stop-motion or any combination of these genres and techniques. Filmmakers may also choose to create a 30-second "Spot" (public service announcement) video that may be considered for Comcast Spotlight commercials.

Welcome Eco-Fashion Designers!

The Festival will include a fashion show featuring new fashions made from previously used materials. Students from kindergarten through grade 12 are invited to participate. Eco-fashions will be modeled during a runway show in between video sets. All fashions must consist of at least 80 percent of used materials. Break out the sewing machine and let those creative juices flow!

Don't miss the entry deadline of March 28, 2014.

The GREENLIGHT Film & Fashion Festival offers an entertaining evening of film, fashion and fun for the entire family. The Awards ceremony honoring runners up and final winners will be broadcast live from the theater. Videos and show segments will be re-broadcast on cable television and available online.

Visit midpenmedia.org/GREENLIGHT for details about video content, film requirements and fashion design contest rules and how to submit your video or eco-fashion to the Festival. Keep up with Festival news and announcements on the GREENLIGHT Film Festival on Facebook and click "Share this event" on Facebook after you register!
