The Berthoud Sports Hall of Fame (HOF) has been established to recognize excellence in sports and athletics by individuals from and associated with Berthoud, Colorado. The Berthoud Sports HOF Induction Dinner & Awards Ceremony is a very special event to honor those individuals. The evening will also include presenting seven scholarships and countless awards for BHS student athletes.

The Berthoud Sports Hall of Fame Committee as well as family and friends of
the inductees will be honoringJOHN HALL, ZACH RUEBESAM, MELVIN BEEDE, BAILIE HOLST, ANNE BALLARD, THE 1935 GIRL'S BASKETBALL TEAM, AND THE 2011 GIRL'S STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TRACK TEAM.

The highlight of the evening will be the induction of the Berthoud Sports Hall
of Fame Class of 2019, but throughout the dinner and ceremony the following will include:

The Berthoud Weekly Surveyor Athlete of the Year and scholarship sponsored by Overtime Sports Net and Aaron and Toni Rath will be presented to one senior male and female BHS student athlete.

The Max Marr Coach of the Year will be presented to a 2018-19 BHS coach.

The Angelo Dabbiero Courage Award & Scholarship will be represented to a BHS student who has exhibited courage in the face of challenges and adversity. The Berthoud Sports Hall of Fame is proud to present the Angelo Dabbiero Courage Award to honor Angelo who fought valiantly in his fight with cancer.

The Heart of a Spartan Award and Scholarship, presented to four award recipients that embody a Spartan's Heart and sponsored by Jose Cabrera and Edward Jones.

The HOF will be introducing and acknowledging the following BHS student athletes for being named as Berthoud Weekly Surveyor Athlete of the Week from the 2018-19 school year.

Additionally, special recognition for BHS student athletes with extraordinary achievement during the 2017-18 year will be presented with awards to highlight their accomplishents.

Berthoud Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner & Awards Ceremony tickets are $40. If tickets are still available, prices will increase to $45 respectively two weeks prior to the event, so don't delay in getting your seats for this memorable evening.
