The VIMS Center for Coastal Resources Management is offering a free virtual, 3-part Shoreline Management Webinar Series. These webinar sessions will include presentations and live interaction with shoreline science and policy experts. Each webinar will be recorded and posted on the CCRM web site for future viewing and reference.
Participation will require access to Zoom video conferencing software. Links will be provided after registration. You can sign up for one or more webinar sessions. Each session will be held from 10-11:30 AM Eastern on the selected dates.

August 20 – Shoreline Law & Policy Updates Hear about new shoreline legislation passed by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly (SB 776). Learn about new guidance to integrate tidal shoreline and riparian buffer management for coastal resilience.

August 25 – Living Shorelines Performance Learn about monitoring results for living shoreline performance over time. Hear results from a study about the potential for nutrient reduction if more living shoreline projects are installed.
