'Tour of Flanders' Club Run

In days gone by, the Club Run was the social heart of the Cycling Club. A weekly rendezvous where life-long friendships were made, essential cycling skills were passed down and a sense of camaraderie and group spirit pervaded.  In modern times, our busy modern lives have left little room for such time honoured traditions until now...

The Club Run

Pay hommage to the great Tour of Flanders race with this month's Club Run. We don't want to give too much away but expect a bit of a Flanders theme to the day's riding. Departing the Sigma Sport store at 10am on Sunday 3 April  the run will feature another custom designed route into Surrey to get you back in the riding mood.

The Club Run is a fully supported ride starting and finishing at the Store.  Lead by experienced La Fuga guides and supported by a vehicle carrying spares all you need to worry about is enjoying the route.  That leaves you free to enjoy the ride, engage in fun and interesting conversation whilst getting out into the countryside.

We will be joined by members of the Sigma Sport - Specialized Pro UCI team to share their knowledge and experience with you.

And after you return from the ride, why not join us in the Club Room to watch the climax of the Tour of Flanders, live from Belgium. We'll even throw in a bottle or two of Leffe to toast the victor.

Participation on the ride costs £15 and spaces are limited to 20.  What you get for this is -

• Pre-planned and downloadable route to keep
• Experienced and trained guides
• Support vehicle carrying spares
• Post ride soft drinks and snacks
• Changing facilities
• Bike wash

Ability

We would love to cater for all abilities however for the safety of all participants we need to ensure that all participants :

• are over the age of 18
• have 6 months + riding experience especially within a group
• must wear a helmet
• must be suitably dressed for the elements (i.e. likely to be cold and possibly wet)

Our rides are not about racing each other but enjoying great company, interesting conversation and experiencing great cycling roads.
