9:00-10:00am: Wildlife Diversity Walk: Habitat Types, Wildlife Diversity, Pollinator Support (Don Kirchoff, Jamie Killian, TPWD, and Pat Merkord, NPAT)
10:00-11:15am: Tour of USFWS PWF Projects: 50 Ft. Wide Green Tree Firebreak; Three Wildlife Guzzlers; Three Burrowing Owl Roosts; Diversity Plots (Katie Boyer and Chris Best, USFWS)
11:15am-12:30pm: Tour & Demonstrations of NRCS WHIP Grassland Restoration Fields (Jim Rogers, Wildlife Biologist, and Jason Katcsmorak, District Conservationist, NRCS) Compare first/last restored fields; compare fields planted in wet vs. dry years; see grass species planted and note results; woody invasive species control demo; invasive control and windrow and management practices.
