Join a group of like minded teachers as we explore and learn about the geology of Alabama through inquiry! We will hike the sandstone canyons and wade the streams within them at Camp McDowell. We will be connecting local geology to earth science standards. We will learn how to ask essential questions and experience learning in fun, engaging ways...just like you want to do in your classroom!
The workshop is funded by the Kaul Foundation and the Susan Mott-Webb Foundation. Thanks to their generousity, the only cost is a small $25 deposit to hold your place.
Three days / two nights in hotel style lodging, delicious meals, 1140 acre outdoor classroom, air conditioned indoor meeting spaces with wifi. You may never want to go home! Feel free to ask for more information by contacting Maggie at maggie@campmcdowell.com.
What fun!
